Involved members make a considerable difference in FAAVM human rights and civil rights mechanism and philanthropic mission, by becoming an active part of our on-going socioeconomic, political and cultural forums, discussions, rallies and all other related activities. As member, you can:
FAAVM subsequently investigates complaints alleging that citizens are being deprived of their fundamental rights within the state or territories in which they live, and study and collect information by consulting with representatives of federal, provincial, state and local government agencies and private organizations; to apply specific remedies in individual cases; to oversees and monitor civil rights implementation by appraising federal and international laws, policies and legally binding human rights treaties and covenants and to uphold the United Nations (UN) Charter through FAAVM human rights mechanism and mandate.
Whereas recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world
Under the umbrella of the Federal Association for the Advancement of Visible Minorities (FAAVM), I commit myself to become an active member and to support its national and global philanthropic mission and humanitarian activities, and to secure, project and enforce my civil rights guaranteed by the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS (UNDHR).
